We partner with Shiprocket, India's leading eCommerce shipping solution, to ensure reliable and trackable deliveries. This Shipping Policy outlines our shipping procedures, delivery timelines, and related information.
1. Shipping Coverage
- We ship to 26,000+ PIN codes across India through Shiprocket's courier network
- Coverage includes all major cities, tier 2/3 cities, and most rural areas
- You can check delivery serviceability by entering your PIN code at checkout
- If your PIN code is not serviceable, you will be notified before payment
- Currently, we do not ship internationally
- We ship from our warehouse in Kollam, Kerala (PIN: 691560)

Note: The courier partner is automatically selected by Shiprocket based on best delivery time, reliability, and cost for your PIN code. You cannot manually choose the courier.
3. Shipping Charges
3.1 How Shipping is Calculated
Shipping charges are calculated in real-time by Shiprocket based on:
- Weight: Actual weight or volumetric weight (whichever is higher)
- Volumetric Weight = (Length × Width × Height) / 5000
- Example: A package of 30×30×30 cm = 5.4 kg volumetric weight
- Distance: Shipping from Kollam, Kerala to your delivery PIN code
- Within Kerala: Lower shipping cost
- Metro cities: Moderate shipping cost
- Remote areas: Higher shipping cost
- Courier Type: Standard, Express, or Surface delivery
- Zone: Local, regional, national, or special zones
💡 Tip: Exact shipping cost will be displayed at checkout after you enter your delivery PIN code. There are no hidden charges.

3.3 Free Shipping
- Free shipping may be offered during promotional campaigns (displayed on website)
- Verified contractors with bulk orders may qualify for free/discounted shipping
- Minimum order value for free shipping will be specified during promotions
4. Order Processing and Dispatch
4.1 Order Confirmation
- After successful payment, you receive an Order Confirmation Email
- Your order is automatically synced with Shiprocket within minutes
- Shiprocket creates a shipping label and assigns the best courier partner
4.2 Processing Time
- Orders are processed and handed over to courier within 1-2 business days
- Business days exclude Sundays and public holidays
- Large/bulky items (big chandeliers) may require 2-3 days for safe packaging
- Custom or made-to-order products: 5-7 days processing time
- During festive seasons (Diwali, Christmas), processing may take 2-3 days
4.3 Dispatch Notification
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive:

- Tracking Link to monitor your shipment in real-time
- Information includes:

5.2 Factors That May Cause Delays
- Weather: Heavy rain, floods, cyclones, snow
- Natural Disasters: Earthquakes, landslides
- Political Issues: Strikes, bandhs, protests, curfew
- Festivals/Holidays: Delivery paused on Sundays and national holidays
- Incorrect Address: Missing flat number, landmark, or wrong PIN code
- Recipient Unavailable: No one to receive delivery
- Courier Delays: Vehicle breakdown, high shipment volume during sales
- COVID-19/Pandemic: Lockdowns, restricted movement
- Customs (for special zones): Additional screening in border areas
Celestea and Shiprocket are not liable for delays due to force majeure events or circumstances beyond our control.

6.1 How to Track Your Order

7. Delivery Process
7.1 Before Delivery
- You will receive a call/SMS from delivery agent 30-60 minutes before delivery
- Make sure someone is available at the delivery address
- Some courier partners may call you before delivery (not guaranteed)
- Keep a valid photo ID proof ready (Aadhaar, PAN, Driving License, etc.)
- Delivery agent may ask for OTP or signature on device
7.2 During Delivery
- Inspect the Package: Check for visible external damage
- Open in Presence of Agent: For high-value items, open and verify contents
- If Damaged:
- Note damage on delivery receipt
- Take photos/video of damaged package
- You can refuse delivery if severely damaged
- Sign/OTP: Provide signature or OTP to confirm delivery
- Keep Invoice: Retain invoice for warranty and returns
7.3 Failed Delivery Attempts
Courier partners will make up to 3 delivery attempts:
- Attempt 1: Initial delivery attempt
- Attempt 2: Next business day re-delivery
- Attempt 3: Final attempt after 1-2 days
Common Reasons for Failed Delivery:
- Recipient not available/out of station
- Incorrect or incomplete address
- Phone number not reachable
- Premises locked/closed
- Security guard refused entry
- Customer refused to accept
⚠️ After 3 Failed Attempts: Package will be marked for RTO (Return to Origin) and sent back to our warehouse. You will be notified via email/SMS. Re-delivery will require you to pay return shipping + forward shipping charges again.
7.4 Change Delivery Address/Date
- Address cannot be changed once order is dispatched
- You can request courier to hold package at nearest hub for self-pickup (contact courier directly using AWB number)
- For delivery date change, contact the courier partner's customer care (number provided in tracking SMS)
8. Shipping Address Requirements
8.1 What to Include in Address
- Full Name: Recipient's complete name (as per ID proof)
- House/Flat Number: Complete building/flat/door number
- Street/Area: Road name, street, locality
- Landmark: Nearby recognizable location (hospital, temple, metro station, etc.)
- City: Correct city name
- State: Correct state
- PIN Code: Valid 6-digit PIN code (very important!)
- Phone Number: Active 10-digit mobile number
- Alternate Number: Optional but recommended

8.2 Address Restrictions
- We do NOT deliver to PO Box addresses
- Army/Military addresses require special clearance (contact us before ordering)
- Border areas may have delivery restrictions
- Address must match PIN code (Shiprocket validates automatically)
9. Packaging and Safety
9.1 Our Packaging Standards
- Double Layered Boxes: Inner product box + outer shipping carton
- Bubble Wrap: All fragile items wrapped in multiple layers
- Thermocol/Foam: Corner protection for glass and crystal products
- Fragile Stickers: "Handle with Care" and "Fragile" labels on all sides
- Tamper-Proof Tape: Branded packaging tape to prevent tampering
- Moisture Protection: Waterproof wrapping for long-distance shipments
9.2 Insurance
- All shipments are insured by Shiprocket against transit damage/loss
- Insurance coverage up to the invoice value of the product
- In case of damage/loss, claim process is handled by us (no hassle for you)
10. Multiple Items and Split Shipments
- Orders with multiple items may ship in separate packages
- Large chandeliers may ship separately from smaller items
- Each package will have a different AWB number and tracking link
- You will receive separate tracking notifications for each package
- No extra shipping charges for split shipments
- Delivery dates may vary for each package
11. Damaged or Lost Shipments
11.1 Damaged in Transit
If you receive a damaged product:
- Do NOT accept delivery if outer package is severely damaged
- If damage is discovered after accepting:
- Take clear photos/videos of damaged product and packaging
- Report to us within 24 hours via email: celesteaofficial@gmail.com
- Include: Order number, AWB number, damage description, photos
- We will file a claim with Shiprocket's insurance
- You will receive replacement or full refund (your choice)
- Damaged product pickup will be arranged by courier
11.2 Lost in Transit
If tracking shows "Lost" or no update for 15+ days:
- Contact us immediately at celesteaofficial@gmail.com
- We will raise a shipment investigation with Shiprocket
- Investigation takes 7-10 business days
- If declared lost, we will:
- Reship the product immediately (if in stock)
- OR provide full refund (if out of stock)
- No additional cost to you
11.3 Delay Claims
- If delivery is delayed beyond promised ETD by 7+ days, contact us
- We will escalate with Shiprocket and courier partner
- You may be eligible for shipping charge refund (case-by-case basis)
12. Bulk Orders and Projects
- Bulk orders (20+ units): Special shipping arrangements available
- Freight Shipping: For very large projects, we can arrange surface transport/truck shipping
- Project Deliveries: Coordinated delivery to construction sites/offices
- Warehousing: Hold-and-release option for phased deliveries

13. Self-Pickup from Warehouse
- You can choose to pick up from our warehouse to save shipping costs
- Select "Self-Pickup" option during checkout
- Order will be ready for pickup within 1-2 business days
- You will receive a pickup confirmation email/SMS
- Bring valid ID proof and order confirmation
